

At the core of all response actions taken by the University of Iowa is the commitment to supporting victim-survivors by respecting their rights and preferences while maintaining integrity in the due process given to all involved parties.

The new three-year Anti-Violence Plan (AVP) for sexual misconduct, dating violence, and stalking includes action items that build on existing programs, policies, and resources and aligns with the 2020-2023 Office on Violence Against Women Campus Program Grant. The University of Iowa has a committed team working to prevent sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, dating violence, and stalking provide trauma-informed care to survivors implement a fair and equitable resolution process and hold community members accountable for harm created.
